7. Derived from:  Oatman, E. R. & E. F. Legner.  1962.  Integrated control of apple insects and mite pests in Wisconsin.  Entomol. Soc. Amer. North Cent. Br. Proc. 17:  6 pp.

Summary

The data show that integrated control of most apple insect pests is possible in Door County, Wisconsin orchards with combinations of Ryania-Lead Arsenate and Ryania-Thuricide.  The 86 to 92 percent clean fruit obtained under integrated control programs using these materials compared favorably with the 95 percent where a Sevin-Dieldrin preblossom miticide program was used.
